Get Involved…
Camp Rising Sun exists to provide a traditional camping experience to children who have undergone treatment for cancer. For one week a year these brave children and a sibling can forget about the hospital lingo and live life with others who have shared similar experiences. Friendships are forged and memories are created that will last a lifetime. For many, Camp Rising Sun is a life altering experience.
We are a non-profit organization funded completely by donations and run by volunteers. For over 35 years we have been able to offer this camp FREE to all campers. This could not be made possible without the support of our donors and volunteers who freely give their time to serve at camp.
Camp Rising Sun exists thanks to the dedication and support of volunteers and donors like you.
